The Moon - Journal Writing
The Revenge Of The Pride!!
Long, long ago in the desert of South Africa, the animals got together & had a meeting. It was about how the zoo keepers kept taking their baby animals, everyone was upset & scared! But King Alex (a lion) had a plan. He got everyone together & said "I have a plan, but all of you will have to play a part in it." in a DEEP voice. As the moon shone late at night, the animals got ready to go into war! When they got to the zoo, Alex saw guards with blow-dart-guns. Alex was scared, but he was brave, always! So the team split up & Killed the guards. Now all they had to do was jump over the gate & get to the baby animals, but King Alex saw there was one more guard, sleeping in a big box that controlled the gate. So he ran over to the box & killed the guard, then he opened the gate, just as Garry the Giraffe jumped over, & fell on his leg. There was a loud SNAP! Garry broke his leg & stubbed his hoof. But the rest of the animals didn't care & walked right passed him!

Queen Of The Barn
Who: Elan, Daisy.
What: Daisy gets run over by a car & has to go over to the vet clinic.
When: Elan gets home from school.
Where: The road next to his house.
Why: Because the driver of the car wasn't watching the daisy run across the road.
How: The driver wasn't watching.
Problem: Daisy broke her leg open.
Solution: Elan spends all his life savings on fixing Daisy.

The Ants & Grasshoppers (The Sequel)
Who: The ants & grasshoppers
What: The story is set in summer. The grasshoppers, bees & grubs are sitting on a giant log feeding on leaves, when the ants are bringing back food for the rest of the colony.
When: First it's summer, but later in the story it's winter.
Where: It's set in the forest.
Why: The ants won't let the grasshopper in because he didn't do any work to get food & shelter in summer for winter.
How: The grasshopper was resting & making music with his legs.
Problem: The grasshopper didn't work to get food/shelter for the freeze.
Solution: The grasshopper had to be a slave for the ants until it was spring.
